Cardi B did the unthinkable and landed that number 1 spot on the Billboard charts. Honestly you cant even be mad for sis; love her or hate her she did the damn thing and surely enough those of you who don’t like her still go HARD in the club when Bodak Yellow comes on. But really who can help it …. I mean as soon as you hear “said lil’ B***h” you already know you’re going to have a good night. Cardi B reaching the top makes her the first solo female rapper to do so since Lauryn Hill in 1998.

Although she may have her moments where she does crazy things, she still inspires so many women. C’mon she really went from working in strip clubs to performing her music all over the world and being one of the most recognizable figures in music at the moment. If that’s not a major come up, idk what is. Many people try to talk down on her because she was a stripper in the past, but nobody knows exactly what she was going through in her life at the time. To all the naysayers, she proved you all wrong and did the opposite of becoming another statistic. Everybody can learn from her struggles and get out of whatever bad situation you may be in.

With that being said….. NEVER be too afraid to follow your dreams no matter how big or small they may be. As long as you’re willing to put the time and work into it, there’s nothing you cant do. Like Cardi said, “ I don’t dance now, I make money moves."
