Quick Tips On How To Get Prepared For Summer
Drink more water.
Try and replace soda and juice with water. Soda and juice are just extra calories that your body does not need once it starts to get warm out. If you do not favor the taste of water, you can try infusing your water with your favorite fruit combinations.
Although it may not be everyone’s favorite thing to do, exercising is so essential for your health. Even if you do at least one hour for three days a week, that will slowly but surely improve your health and have your body looking right. However, don’t get discouraged if you feel like you are not seeing a difference fast enough. In order to speed up the process, you need to ensure you are eating clean and healthy. Only the combination of healthy eating and exercise can ensure a quick way to changing your body for the better.
In the summer your diet can really affect your mood. Try to eat more fruits, veggies, and protein. If you can, try to avoid carbs as much as possible, like bread, pasta, and rice. As much as we may love visits to Ralph’s and Cold Stone, try to make those trips once or twice a month. The better you eat, the better you feel and eventually start to look.
Get your bathing suits early!
You never want to wait until June or July to look for a bathing suit because by then most of the cute ones are gone. Search early for your swimwear, between March and April preferably. During that time you will find the most options because that is when new season swimwear are released. It is always better to stock up early so you don’t have to go scrambling later.
Plan Your Vacation
If you plan on going away this summer, make sure you plan it early and get all your details in order. It is always best to have any vacations you plan on taking organized early. Try to book all-inclusive resorts and make sure you go with a great group of friends.
Update your beauty regimen
If your skin tends to get oilier in the summer, make sure you do what you need to do to take care of your skin. Go light on makeup by switching from heavy foundations to a BB Cream. Stock up on sunscreen and make sure you protect your skin as much as possible.
Consume liquor in moderation
Although we all enjoy a good drink here and there, drinking liquor is a quick way to get dehydrated and to stop your weight loss process. Not only does it add a lot of calories, but if consumed more than necessary it is also bad for your liver. Take the high road and reduce the amount of drinking for great results.
You know what they say, all work and no play makes for a veery boring summer 😉
Besides, ambitious girls know how to have fun too !
